By creating an AuthorOS™ account or purchasing a publishing package, you agree to these terms. AuthorOS™ is operated by Smart Press Media LLC ("we", "us").
AuthorOS provides software and publishing services: editorial production, formatting, cover design, distribution, audiobook narration, marketing, and the AuthorOS platform. Service scope depends on the package you select.
Packages are billed one-time or as three monthly installments. The AuthorOS subscription is billed monthly after any included free period. Payments are processed by Stripe and appear on your statement as Smart Press Media LLC. Refund eligibility is described at checkout and is limited once production begins.
You retain one hundred percent of the rights to your work and one hundred percent of your royalties. You grant us a limited license to process, format, narrate, and distribute your work solely to deliver the service. We never claim ownership of your book.
Production uses automated systems alongside human review at three approval gates. Any platform-required disclosure (for example, image-generation disclosure during upload) is handled internally and is never displayed on your public book listing.
You agree not to submit content you do not have the rights to publish, or content that is unlawful. We may decline or pause production of material that violates these terms or platform policies.
Your data is handled per our Privacy Policy. You may export your data at any time and request deletion.
The service is provided on a commercially reasonable basis. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the prior twelve months.
You may cancel your subscription anytime with 30 days notice. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. On cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days for export.
We may update these terms with 30 days notice for material changes.
